Apart from lively cities like Rome, where old and new blend beautifully, you can also relax on sandy beaches and swim in clear seas in less populated coastal locations. In addition to visiting Italy, you may visit Sicily, which offers a new perspective on life as well as some of the best food and drink in the region.

1)Marvel at the Coliseum

The ruins of what was once a beautiful amphitheater are one of our time's most important historical relics, with a capacity of over 50,000 spectators.

This gave the tower its distinctive crooked stance, and it has been open and closed to the public at various times throughout its history as architects assess whether it is safe to enter.

When the tower is open, visitors can climb to the top and admire Pisa from the viewing platform.

Temple C, which dates from the 6th century and is claimed to be dedicated to the god Apollo, is the most famous of these.

Some people may be astonished to learn that the largest church in Italy is located in Milan, not Rome or even Vatican City.

The cathedral, commonly known as the Duomo, was dedicated to Saint Mary of the Nativity and was built over the course of six centuries.

The interior is simply gorgeous, with marble decorations and a lovely alter, but the roof area is actually one of the great attractions here, where you can ascend a stairway to the top of the Duomo and gaze out over all of Milan as far as the eye can see.
