Detailed Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu

Arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport. Meet & assist and transfer to hotel. Evening briefing on Manang–Tilicho–Thorong La trekking route, high-altitude safety, and acclimatization. Overnight stay in Kathmandu.

Day 02: Kathmandu – Besisahar – Chame – Pisang Drive (B/L/D)

Early morning departure by private vehicle towards Besisahar, following the Trishuli and Marshyangdi river valleys. From Besisahar, continue by four-wheel drive through rugged mountain roads to Chame and onward to Pisang. The drive offers changing landscapes from subtropical valleys to alpine terrain. Overnight stay in Pisang.

Day 03: Chame – Pisang – Manang (Trek Starts) (B/L/D)

Trek begins with a gradual ascent through pine forests and traditional villages. The trail offers spectacular views of Annapurna II, III, and Gangapurna. Passing through Braga village, there is an opportunity to visit Braga Monastery before reaching Manang. Overnight stay in Manang.

Day 04: Acclimatization in Manang (B/L/D)

Optional short hikes to Gangapurna Lake or local villages. Focus on hydration and light meals. Explore Manang monastery and village markets. Overnight stay in Manang.

Day 05: Manang – Tilicho Base Camp (B/L/D)

Trek through alpine terrain, passing glaciers and moraines to reach Tilicho Base Camp (4,900 m). Dramatic mountain views and moraine valleys along the way. Overnight stay in Tilicho Base Camp.

Day 06: Tilicho Base Camp – Tilicho Lake – Tilicho Base Camp (B/L/D)

Trek to Tilicho Lake (4,919 m), one of the highest lakes in the world. Explore the lake, surrounded by towering peaks, then return to base camp. Overnight stay in Tilicho Base Camp.

Day 07: Tilicho Base Camp – Yak Kharka (B/L/D)

Descend through alpine pastures to Yak Kharka (4,050 m). Observe local yak herding and high-altitude flora. Overnight stay in Yak Kharka.

Day 08: Yak Kharka – Thorong Phedi (B/L/D)

Trek to Thorong Phedi (4,540 m), base for Thorong La Pass. Prepare for the high-altitude crossing. Overnight stay in Thorong Phedi.

Day 09: Thorong Phedi – Thorong La Pass – Muktinath (B/L/D)

Early morning ascent to Thorong La Pass (5,416 m) with panoramic views. Descend to Muktinath (3,760 m) and visit sacred temple. Overnight stay in Muktinath.

Day 10: Muktinath – Jomsom – Tatopani (B)

Morning drive to Jomsom through the Kali Gandaki valley, followed by onward drive to Tatopani. Upon arrival, enjoy a relaxing soak in the natural hot springs, a welcome relief after days of trekking. Overnight stay in Tatopani.

Day 11: Tatopani – Pokhara (B)

Drive from Tatopani to Pokhara through lush mid-hill landscapes. Upon arrival, check in to the hotel. If time permits, sightseeing may include Davis Falls, Gupteshwor Cave, or a walk along Phewa Lake. Overnight stay in Pokhara.

Day 12: Pokhara – Kathmandu (B)

Drive or fly back to Kathmandu. Overnight stay in Kathmandu.

Day 13: Departure (B)

Transfer to Tribhuvan International Airport for onward journey.
