Itinerary:

Day 1: Arrival – Kathmandu

Upon arrival, our representative will meet you and you’ll be transferred to the Hotel. Enjoy the day at leisure. You can go around town and self-explore. Kings Way (Durbar Marg) for shopping and dinner. Good restaurants are located out here. Overnight in a hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 2: Kathmandu familiarization tour (B)

Today you will start your tour visiting Swayambhunath…

Day 1: Arrival – Kathmandu

Day 2: Kathmandu familiarization tour (B)

Today you will start your tour visiting Swayambhunath temple which is said to be a 2000 years old stupa on a hillock that offers a breathtaking view of Kathmandu city.

You will then proceed to visit Kathmandu the largest city of Nepal, is the political as well as cultural capital of the country. Kathmandu is a city where ancient traditions rub shoulders with the latest technological advances. The ancient Durbar Square is full of historical monuments and temples. At the southern end of Durbar Square is one of the most curious attractions in Nepal, the Kumari Chok. This gilded cage contains the Raj Kumari, a girl chosen through an ancient and mystical selection process to become the human incarnation of the Hindu mother goddess, Durga. The royal palace is being used as a museum. Several buildings in the Square collapsed due to a major earthquake on 25 April 2015. Durbar square was surrounded with spectacular architecture and vividly showcases the skills of the Newar artists and craftsmen over several centuries.

After lunch you’ll visit Patan (Lalitpur) city, famous for its Buddhist monuments and Hindu temples. Patan, also known as ‘Lalitpur’, the city of artisans, lies 5 km southeast of Kathmandu, and is home to the valley’s finest craftsmen who have preserved such ancient techniques as the repoussé and lost wax process used to produce exquisite sculptures.

Day 3: Kathmandu – Chitwan (B/L/D)

After an early breakfast you will be departing to Chitwan by road via the prithvi highway.

The Royal Chitwan National Park formally a royal hunting reserve lies in the lowland of Terai zone of southern Nepal. Chitwan literally means “Heart of the Jungle”.Enlisted as a UNESCO World Heritage Site (Natural) in 1984, the park spreads over an area of 932 sq. km. The park is home to 56 species of mammals, 49 species of amphibians and reptiles, and 525 species of birds. Wildlife found here include endangered species like the one-horned rhinoceros and the Royal Bengal tiger, gaur, wild elephant, four-horned antelope, leopard, sloth bear, wild boar, rhesus monkey, grey langur monkey, wild dog, small wild cats, and many other smaller animals.

Upon arrival at the resort in chitwan you will be greeted with welcome drinks which will be followed a tour of the local village and museum. Then dinner will be served back at the resort with Cultural program. Overnight at the resort in Chitwan.

Day 4: Chitwan (B, L, D)

After breakfast you will enjoy the canoe trip across the Rapti River followed by a visit to the elephant breeding center. Lunch will be served around one and take siesta. After siesta embark on an epic elephant ride in the jungle and visit to observation tower and if there is some leisure time, some more activities such as jungle walks through the grasslands and forests. Dinner will be served back at the resort. Overnight at the resort in Chitwan.

Day 5: Chitwan - Pokhara (B)

Today there will be an early morning bird watching trip to the bank of Rapti River and surrounding area. Breakfat back at the hotel. Then departure to Pokhara. Upon arrival in pokhara you will have the rest of the day at leisure which you could use to self explore the wonderful city of Pokhara.

Pokhara’s bewitching beauty has been the subject of many travel writers. Its pristine air, spectacular backdrop of snowy peaks, serene lakes and surrounding greenery make it ‘the jewel in the Himalaya’, a place of remarkable natural beauty.Pokhara is the ultimate destination for relaxation.

Pokhara is blessed with stunning panoramic views of the Annapurna range which forms its backdrop. The mesmerizing Machhapuchhre also called Mt. Fishtail dominates the scenery because of its proximity to the valley and can be seen from anywhere in Pokhara.

Day 6: Pokhara (B)

Early morning departure to Sarangkot, Hilltop site for a breathtaking Sunrise view and the surroundings of pokhara (if the weather permits). Then breaskfast will be served back at the hotel.

after your breakfast you will be visiting various sightseeing places in Pokhara. Such as:

Gupteswor Gupha

​Gupteshwor Mahadev cave is longest and attractive cave where we can find an idol in which amazing and natural pictures of lord Shiva, Lord Ganesh, Goddess Parbati can be found. We can see the illuminating limestone and mesmerizing scene of water fall of Davi’s fall.

Devi's fall

​​It is also called Patale Chango in Nepali which means underground Waterfall. The Davi’s fall is an unique waterfall which flows directly into a narrow and deep canal which has no end. The water from the fall flow about 500 feets through the natural tunnel at the depth of 100 feets from ground level the water passes through the cave called Gupteshwor Mahadev cave beneath the land.

Barahi temple

​It is the important religious monument in Pokhara which is built almost in the middle of Phewa Lake. This is two storied pagoda style temple which is dedicated to the deity Tal Barahi. It is famous among the visitors because of its peaceful surrounding, for different activities like bird watching, watching the Himalayan range, etc.

Bindabashini temple

​Bindabasini is located in the small hill at the northern side of old bazaar and is one of the most famous temples in Pokhara and is believed as one of the oldest temple in the valley. It is dedicated to Goddess Bhagwati.

Phewa Lake

​​Phewa Lake is situated at an altitude of 784m above sea level. It is second largest lake in the kingdom. The lake is best for boating, bird watching and fishing. The reflection of Mt. Machhapuchhare and Annapurna seen in it is amazing.

World Peace Pagoda:

Pokhara Shanti Stupa/ World Peace Pagoda is a Buddhist pagoda-style monument on Anadu Hill in Pokhara. Shanti Stupa in Pokhara was built by Nipponzan-Myōhōji monk Morioka Sonin with local supporters under the guidance of Nichidatsu Fujii, a Buddhist monk and the founder of Nipponzan-Myōhōji. Shanti is a Sanskrit word meaning peace, also widely used in the Nepali and Hindi languages, and Shanti Stupa means Peace Pagoda. Shanti Stupa shrine was built as a symbol of peace. Situated at the height of 1100 meters on the Anadu Hill, Nichidatsu Fujii laid the foundation stone along with relics of the Buddha on 12 September 1973. Nepal has two of the eighty peace pagodas in the world: Shanti Stupa in Lumbini, the birthplace of the Buddha and Shanti Stupa in Pokhara. Shanti Stupa in Pokhara has also become a tourist attraction. It provides a panoramic view of the Annapurna range, Pokhara city and Fewa Lake.

Day 7: Pokhara - Kathmandu (B)

Return back to Kathmandu. you could use the remaining of your time for souvenier shopping and others as you please.

Day 8: Final Day (B)

After your breakfast you will be transferred to the airport to catch your onward flight.
